Born in 1954 in Wadi Al Mur, located in the Wilayat of Sur within Oman’s South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, Al Araimi initially pursued scientific and industrial disciplines. He traveled abroad for his higher education, completing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in the United States in 1981.
However, after experiencing a severe road accident that profoundly altered his physical capabilities and career direction, Al Araimi redirected his life toward writing, editing, and translation, utilizing creative expression as a vehicle for processing personal trauma and self-discovery.
Throughout his prolific literary trajectory, Al Araimi published several critically acclaimed original titles. Among his most celebrated works is The Taste of Patience, an autobiographical memoir detailing his grueling journey of physical recovery and psychological adaptation following his life-changing accident.
