Deputy PM for Defence Affairs pins aviation wings on pilot officers
Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, pinned aviation wings today at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on a number of graduating pilots of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), after they successfully completed an integrated training program in various aviation specialties.
HH Sayyid Shihab also presented His Majesty the Sultan’s Aviation Cup to Flying Officer Mohammed bin Said al Kharousi for achieving first place overall in the aviation course.
The pinning ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence and Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
