Oman, Libya discuss Cooperation in defence studies
MUSCAT: Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), received at his office in Bait Al Falaj on Wednesday Hassan Ali Habib, First Deputy President of the High Council of State of Libya, along with his accompanying delegation.
The two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Dr Ghazi bin Said al Rawas, a member of the Council of State.
Earlier, the guest and his delegation visited the National Defence College at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. They were received at Bait Al Falaj by Rear Admiral Ali bin Abdullah al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC).
The delegation received a briefing on the college, its facilities and equipment and toured its various departments. – ONA
