Shura Office approves agenda for upcoming session

MUSCAT: The Majlis Ash’shura Office held its 16th meeting for the third regular sitting of the tenth term (2023-2027) in Muscat Governorate on Wednesday.

The Office reviewed a number of reports from the standing committees, including reports on strengthening the knowledge economy and an evaluation of Omanisation policies and programmes in the tourism sector.

It also reviewed several annual reports from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economy, referring them to the relevant committees, alongside a report from the Foreign Ministry on economic diplomacy.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Office approved the agenda for the Council’s 18th session, scheduled for June 29, 2026. – ONA
