The creation of a world record of AED 2.1 million ($571,000) is achieved by the Gyr Pure Ultra White Falcon. The above-mentioned world record was created in connection with the last auction of falcons at the ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi. The world record falcon was sourced from the US, where it was specifically bred on a farm.
The mentioned world record was made possible during the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as the representative of the Ruler in the Al Dhafra Region as well as Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
Renowned among global experts for its exceptionally pure lineage, striking physical stature, and pristine white plumage, the Gyr Pure Ultra White represents one of the rarest and most coveted avian breeds in world falconry.
The successful winning bid established the highest public valuation ever recorded for a single falcon at an official auction, surpassing previous regional trade standards and solidifying ADIHEX’s reputation as the global benchmark for elite avian sales.
